Tanamasi Tanamasi is a traditional Malinke greeting that translates literally as "Did you sleep without evil?", eg, did you have nice dreams and not woken with angst. I thought it is a great greeting, and I thought I would do something in 3/4 time, transposed as 12/8 to make it easier to see, but it is definitely "waltzy". wayne alford 2008-07-17
