Inspired by Kpan-Logo and Ashanti music
A rhythm inspired by Ghanian music. It contains some elements from High Life and KpanLogo and from Ashanti rhythms.
The basic rhythm is written on straight 1/8 notes with some solo phrases spanning from one point in time to another in
a given number of steps giving new note lengths.
In the second half, parts of the basic rhythm 'escape' from squareness of 1/8 notes, giving a particular lilt or groove. |
