To create a new instrument. Select Instrument/New from the menu. Enter a name for the new instrument. Press the "Load"-Buttons to load the WAVE-files with the sound for the new instrument. Only WAVE-files in 16Bit 1 channel, 44.1kHz format are accepted. This is required because the digital software mixer can only process this format.
Press the "Test"-buttons to listen to the new loaded sounds.
Press the symbol button to edit the name of the sound and its symbol.
Press "OK" to store the new instrument.
EDIT SYMBOL
In den Symbol Editor, you can design a new symbol, modify
an existing symbol.
To copy a symbol from an other instrument, press the button "..."
right from the name and select the instrument and sound you want to copy
from.
Symbols are created by a list of Elements (Line, Circle,...).
To draw a new element, select one from the buttons below the symbol and
drag it at the symbol area.
To move an element, select the it from the list and drag it in the symbol
area. If you click in one of the red rectangles, you can move the reference
point.
With the "Up" button, you can move the element up in the list.
"Down" move it down. The sequence of the elements in the list
is the sequence the elements will be drawen.
Select the instrument from the instrumentlist. Select "Instrument/Edit" from the menu. Use the "Load" buttons to load a new sound to the instrument. Press "Clear" to remove a loaded sound from the instrument. Press "Test" to listen to the loaded sounds. You can change the name of the instrument by editing the "Name" field. In this case the instrument-file in the inst folder is renamed too. In the rhythm-files are only the names of the instruments stored. If you change the instruments name, you have to change all rhythms where this instrument is used! Press "OK" to activate the changes.
Select the instrument in the instrument list. Choose "Instrument/Delete" from the menu. Now you have to press "OK" to permanently delete the instrument. You have to change all rhythms where this instrument is used! Press "Cancel" to leave the instrument in the list.
